Looking up while TRing a...
Looking up while TRing a pretty heinous 5.9ish offwidth at The Bend on 1-22-06. This thing was pretty dang physical. I tore the skin off both elbows through 2 layers of clothing, plus removed the skin on the insides of both of my ankles "enjoying" this sucka. A pretty good crack to practice Levitation technique on as it is absolute bomber locker knees (froggy foot) width through the money section.

Heh heh. Yeah, offwidths are always cool when you reach the anchors, after the cursing is done :-). This is one of the best offwidths I've climbed. I'd like to lead it next time. Physical, but doable. Fairly long too. For protection you will need stuff in the 4 to 6 friend size (3.5 to #5 camalot (old school sizes)). How much depends on how much placing versing walking you do.

Thanks, it was a fun outing. It's pretty hard to go wrong at the bend, almost every route is really friggen good.
