What time of year?

Nice shot Dean! This looks to be no later than early July. It's amazing how much more snow and ice there was back then than there seems to be now. I've been on Dome twice, '75 and '86, and there was much less in '86. But the later photos show much less ice on the Dome Glacier than even in '86. Amazing. In our '75 party was a couple from the Tri-Cities, Bob and Shirley Scheib. Do you happen to know them?

Re: What time of year?

It was indeed early June. I sent you a pic awhile back of where we camped at Cup (Cub?) lake. Snow was everywhere but of course that added to the overall beauty. I just scanned another Dome Peak pic which may be better than this one. I'll email it to you. I don't know the Scheibs.
