Riffugio Brazza (1660m) is standing on top of small head that is overlooking Altipiano del Montasio, huge grassy slopes and pastures bellow the southern cliffs of Montaz group. Montaz itself is far on the left, in the clouds. Just bellow the cliffs is Forca dei Disteis pass where both Southern route and Findenegg Couloir route ascend. This green slopes can't give you the right picture of how far the pass is (2 hours).
