Scary Traverse [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Scary Traverse
Bruce performing the sketchy traverse while following pitch #2 of the East Face. It may look easy where he is, but that is nasty 2" of sugar snow on featureless slab. Very unnerving stuff. We had to traverse here, since the crux waterfall was not formed enough to climb.

I can well believe it was scary. But that sling up there looks useful!

Cheers

The sling is useful until he had to unclip it and downclimb to the anchor with no pro.

Thanks,
Martin
