Re: Very InterestingThe sybols are tibetan writing. You will notice that the letters are repeated over and over. It says "Om Mani Padme Hum" which means, superficially, "the jewel in the heart of the lotus" but it is a mantra which is believed to hold many deeper layers of meaning. In fact it is said that the mantra contains all the wisdom of the Buddha in a single phrase. You will see it on prayer wheels too.

Great photosThe album could be improved with a bit of tidying up though. For example, you could remove "Insert Text Here" which is left over from the original page format. There is lots of information available about these "Mani Stones" on the internet. Your wonderful set of photos deserve to be enhanced with some of this information about the stones added to make it more informative.

Intentaré explicar en español (perdone mi español por favor - estoy utilizando Babelfish para ayudarme a traducir) La escritura tibetana en las rocas dice que el "Om Mani Padme Hum" esto es fonético en inglés, quizá no en español. La frase significa "la joya en el corazón del loto" pero tiene significado mucho más profundo en la lengua tibetana

Actually...These are in the Tibetan script (and not Sanskrit). Great album!
