Mt. Index as seen from US 2 Stevens Pass Highway, westbound. Taken in 1978 when the trees across the road were small. They have grown up tremendously since then!

I knew I'd stumble across another gem today of yours. You didn't disappoint. You took this pic in 1978 and nailed the scan. That is as nice a pic of Index as I've seen. Happy New year Sir Robert. (the Sir is my way of knighting you Master of Photography)

	Hasn't voted	Dean, you are ever so kind, as always. I was really lucky to get that photo when I did - those trees are all grown up since then, and that particular view is either very different (worse) or non-existent. I'm working on uploading some pix from the North Cascade Highway too. They are of Black Peak. My buddy Duane has climbed Black, but I haven't. I've gotta believe that the view on that summit would be one of the best anywhere, and I really wanna climb that thing. Maybe in 2004 after I get the WA counties done? Wanna go? :-) Bob

	Voted 10/10	I just saw your Black Peak pic and it is also a beauty. Very high quality. (I gotta get some exercise in now, ate too much at Christmas and didn't do much of anything but entertain a ton of family for a week) Your pics give me incentive to get outdoors. Keep a posting them, I need all the inspiration you can throw my way. ; ) Its rained here all day.
