The Daintree National Park is a 7.000 square km National Park in Far North Queensland, Australia. It is about 100 km north of Cairns and was founded in 1988. Nearly the whole National Park is covered with rainforest which even grows into the ocean (coral sea).

Agreed, it's a great place. I went last August, but I imagine that December would be hot, hot, hot!

BTW, you have a spelling error or two on the page.

we were staying in a tent at the campside and had 52° celsius/125° fahrenheit once in the morning!
