Hasn't voted | How high is the headwall? And is there a run-out? What happens if u fall? | | Posted May 16, 2005 5:27 am |

Voted 10/10 | The headwall is about 150 to 200 feet high of 65 degree snow. The only protection is pickets, which would vary from bad to good, depending on snow conditions. If you fell with no protection, you would probably fall all the way down the South Klickitat Glacier Icefall into a crevasse and probably die.
Hope that helps.
