Today Seth and I headed to ski Sneffels - the fourteenth time on the summit for him, my first. But I think we both enjoyed it equally. Leaving the trailhead at 6am we made the summit via Lavender Col by 9am. The clouds were building quick. So we made a hasty descent of the summit snowfield. Although the pucker factor was high it was 'in' and made for a nice ski. We continued into the Birthday Chutes picking an aesthetic narrow line between rock walls that dumped us into Yankee Boy Basin. Snowflakes started to fall as we harvested corn all the way back to the trailhead.

Seth took all the good pictures.
