Brèche de Roland, Spanish Side [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Brèche de Roland, Spanish Side
Brèche de Roland (2807m) as seen from the Spanish side. The remarkably thin walls have a gap here of 40m wide and 100m high. The legend goes that a hero named Roland threw his sword when he was mortally wounded, thus creating this doorway to Spain.
