how difficult was this portion? You weren't attached to anything were you? How far would the fall be? (just overly curious)

It wasn't extremely difficult, but care was definitely called for, and it did call for a heightened level of concentration! A fall would have been maybe 30 feet; coming back in the bad weather we were able to bypass the area by going down, and around. (And no, we weren't roped.)
