Nice light on The Guardhouse, Porcupine Ridge
After raining and snowing most of the night at camp, and snowing the entire night at higher elevations, this nicely lit scene greeted us the next morning as we left our tents. I don't know why Porcupine Ridge (highest of four summits is 9,128') is so named; it looks entirely like a mountain to me. Whatever the reason, those cliffs on the right handle the light well! Nice peak in back, on the left (about a fourth of the way in) is The Guardhouse (9,336'). Photo by Vernon, September 8, 2007.
