Forest Fires ravaged the...
Forest Fires ravaged the Pintler Wilderness in the year 2000. The remnants could be seen on the trails and in the surrounding tree-covered mountains. This photo is of a mountain seen on the way to the trailhead on Moose Lake Road. It looks like a giant cigarette burn. Photo taken by Daniel Fleischmann, summer 2001.
