...look across this boulder, sometimes called "the balanced egg," for a scrambling descent from the north side of the trail. This rock is about a ten-minute hike/scramble east from the summit of Old Rag. Skyline Wall is an easily accessible climbing area on Old Rag that sees little usage compared to the trail traffic nearby. It is best-known for its number of moderate crack routes.
