Camp 2 at 19,200 feet.At the base of the Polish Glacier. Eccles and Frank were to have done the Polish Direct route. Two things changed their plans. One the ice conditions were bad for the direct route, so they opted for the traverse route. Then Frank spent a miserable night with AMS. So both decided to retreat. We had our own problems and followed the next day. Image supplied by Frank Lotthrincx of Holland. Frank you should join summitpost.com and send your alps images in. Cheers
