Photo of the Chute (Glacier Direct Route) that Bob refers to. It looked a bit too loose and steep for our liking after the intimidating rocks on the East Arete. There was a small bergschrung that opened up at my feet which could make the route even more difficult if the snow was lower. We settled for Maclure that day, but we'll be back, hopefully in a higher snow year!
