Hasn't voted | In the photo above, there are two 'humps'. The hump on the RIGHT is Meany Crest. The ascent route is via the long snow finger which is aimed directly at Meany Crest. From the top of the snow finger traverse right on talus and unstable scree to the base of the broad steep snowfield which connects to the Fryingpan Glacier. There are other smaller 'island' of rock above Meany, but Meany is on the climber's left and has innumerable bivy spots on a large flat top the size of half a football field. | | Posted Jul 21, 2009 12:18 am |
