The view to the northeast from the summit of Chair Peak on 2/22/04. Check out those dog or bird footprints out on the cornice. Yikes!

Martin, was it windy enough for you up there on Sunday? It was windy as hell Saturday on Granite Mountain. I couldn't wipe the spindrift off my camera lens fast enough for clearer pictures because of the strong winds. Nice shot.

Ahh yes. The climb would have been perfect without the wind. We were pelted by spindrift quite a few times. About the only thing to do is quickly turn your head to the leward side to protect your face.
