Route viewed from summit ramp [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Route viewed from summit ramp
The route from the summit ramp. The left segment starts at the east-west ridge notch, drops down on snow, and then ends about where this route view starts. The center route segment starts between the buttress and rock, and rises north on a ledge toward the Finger Traverse(top-center), bypassing the FT on the west side of the ridge, and the right segment leads from the end of the FT bypass toward the narrow snow gully that is just barely out of this view. The Terrible Traverse, lower-left, looks very intimidating from this angle. July 13, 2008
