Lovely Scene

The interleaved ridges and their tones are just great.

Re: Lovely Scene

Thanks Ray!

Honestly speaking...I really like that photo as well :) considering conditions in which it was taken (around -20 and dramatic icy wind straight on the face) one can be really sattisfied with the final result.

Cheers

Nice pic

Is Pikuj the one on the left?

Re: Nice pic

Yeah, that's the one.

On that windy and extremely cold but sunny day I experienced visibility up to 250-300 km as eyes could reach Tatras and most probably Gorgany peaks or even Czarnohora(difficult to estimate in such sea of mountains). Great time and I'd like to repeat it this winter, but when I see that down in the valleys there is about 10 cm of snow now I start to doubt...

Re: Nice pic

Oh, I doubt, if you are right with Pikuj. My eyes see only Polonina Runa (Rowna) and Hostra Hora. Exactly the same scenery as in Stjepan's case.

Re: Nice pic

It looks like Lukas is right: Ostra hora (Sharp Mtn) on the left and Polonyna Rivna on the right. Let's compare images 3 and 5 (above the map) here.
And have a look at the first words here :)

Re: Great

Big words, I really appreciate that, thanks Konrad!

I really regret I didn't have occasion to drop in Bieszczady on my last holiday in Poland that has just ended. I miss those views and that extraordinary space a lot.

Wishing fantastic views and photos from the mountains in the New Year for you,

Tomek
