The west side approach (blue) starts near the Nipton-Searchlight exit on i-15 (CA), then takes the Ivanpah Road past the historic Barnwell site. The east side approach (purple) starts in Searchlight (NV) on us 95, and takes the Nipton Road west to the Walkingbox Road, then travels south. The hike is shown in red.
