State Highpoints

The quest to hike to the top of every state started when I was just a young boy, about 12 years old. I found an old atlas in my parent's house, and began studying the maps of each state. Soon, I became obsessed with finding the highpoints, and declared to myself that I'd be at the top of each state by the time I die. Without much means, and different life courses, I finally was able to summit my first state highpoint on October 13, 2009 in West Virginia. I summitted 3 on that day, West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. The quest has begun, and I will complete that goal.
