What an Adventure!

On October 16th-17th I took my scout troop on a trip to the new Little Jack's Creek Wilderness in the Owyhee Canyonlands of Southwest Idaho. This area is difficult to reach due to remoteness and awful road conditions but it is worth it. We camped out at the Southern end of the canyon and hiked down into it the next morning. The biggest treat of all though, was seeing 5 Desert Bighorn Sheep on our way home.

My advice is NEVER take an Astrovan to the Owyhee Canyonlands!
