We climbed Thorung Ri back in 1991. The north face was totally iced over and looked impossible, so we had to do a big detour round to the east and up the east ridge to get to the summit. It was a great day though and your photo brings back some fantastic memories, thanks

Thank you, johnloguk. I'm glad to have brought those memories back. I understand you perfectly, for we made the Annapurna Circuit almost ten years ago and found a very special land and people up there. Sorry about the poor quality of the picture, but it's an old scanned color slide.
