Voted 8/10 | We climbed Thorung Ri back in 1991. The north face was totally iced over and looked impossible, so we had to do a big detour round to the east and up the east ridge to get to the summit. I understand you perfectly, for we made the Annapurna Circuit almost ten years ago and found a very special land and people up there.
