Taken July 7, 2001. We had just come off the trail after 28 miles and 7 days. A rare thunderstaorm was forming over the mountains and we stopped at the Tunnel View to photograph the cloud formations and Lo' and Behold a rainbow popped up and I shot 5 rolls of 400ISO print film. It was all I had! So, here's what resulted. As far as I know this is the best shot of a rainbow over Half Dome that's ever been photographed. I have scoured the landscape and have found nothing else that even comes close.
