Southern Approach
The parking spot and the beginning of the trail to Assiniboine Lake. The trail is spotty until you get across the clearcut and into the tall lodgepole. The fairly well defined trail follows Assiniboine Creek until it ends at the outlet of Assiniboine Lake. The two creek crossings come in the first couple of miles. You'll hear the second creek crossing before you see it.
