Overview

Areuse river comes from Jura mountains to Neuchâtel lake, in Switzerland.
Areuse valley is named Val de Travers.

Areuse canyon is a nice family hike on trail. Only care must be taken for children, because the path can be slippery when weet.

Please find here some picts taken a rainy day when the river was very high and powerfull, because of storms and snow melting in mountains. Most of the time, during summer, the river is very quite.

Goodness, what a surprise!

I never thought I would ever hit upon a photo album from the swiss Jura - and I know exactly where the Val de Travers is! - on SummitPost! That's a real find - and your photos all came out very well! I say thank you!!
