Overview

It's one of the Maladetas Occidentales. The normal route of the peak goes from collado Cordier with access across collado de Alba or Lago de Cregüeña.

Getting There

The shorter route to reach collado Cordier is across Collado superior de Alba from La Renclusa: see route.

Climbing the summit of Le Bondidier

We walk from collado superior de Alba descending a little bit to left side in direction to the slopes of Mir and Sayó searching after that the entry to collado Cordier, the evident crosspath between Sayó and Le Bondidier. The most direct climbing goes across the right side of the ridge (I+) bordering the first aiguille climbing a nice wall using the small chimneys (II) to the summit of Bondidier North (3.152 m ). We descent to left side of the ridge taking small terraces in rights side to reach the gap. In the "horcada" we take to right side the chimney (II) to the nice summit with excelent panorama.

Another option it'spossible if the slopes doesn't have snow. In the col we descent a little in the right side of the peak to walk in the scree under the ridge that we leave in left side. We border two small aiguilles and we turn to left to reach a path on the rocks to reach a very narrow col in the ridge.

Essential Gear

Crampons and ice axe in early Spring for the entry of Collado Sup. de Alba. The rope is generally not necessary because the rock is good to climb.
