Looking up at the South...
Looking up at the South Rabbit Ear from the Ears notch. The first 1.5 pitches (I think - we did NOT climb the route) of South Rabbit Ear - Standard Route can be seen in the photo including the bolted belay station atop P1. At the time we did the North Ear, the start of this route was protected by a rusty old bolt down low followed by a runout and steep (for a .7-.8) face. As Mark points out on the route description page, this is definitely an adventure climb (November 6, 2004).

you nailed it, thats the line! kinda obvious eh? great rout, i highly recomend this.

thanks man - yeah, one of these days would like to get the other ear in the Menagerie. It's a proud looking tower!
