We chickened out on this...

We chickened out on this shortcut on the Coleman, below the headwall. That dip was a thin knifeblade. We backed off and walked 'way around.

Coleman Glacier shot

I am always happy to hear from a humble climber. We are out for a good time and to be sure to do it again. Good picture and you are alive to tell about it and try something again. My friend and I went to the lower part of Coleman Glacier for some practice with ice tools, new to me. Saw your pictures and enjoyed. Happy climbing.

Thanks. It was a long detour around the end of the crevasse, but we got our summit, and without having to fish me out of a deep hole.
