Pinxter Flowers...

...are what they are called. I don't usually see them in SNP until May, though. Interesting that they were out in April where you were, but then again, we had that really warm March.

Thanks, Bob! It was pretty late in April that I saw them. It could also be the elevation. New Market Gap is at about 1,800 feet.
