Climbing stalwartsHi Noondueller, I've never been in the exalted circles of the Villain or Sir Chris and they have written their own tales. I have seen both. Back in the sixties I used to see Don at the dartboard during our evening refreshments in Llanberis after a day's climbing but not on the rock. We saw Sir Chris at Liverpoool's John Lennon airport a few years back. He was on the same flight as us heading to Barcelona on EasyJet. Most of our trad climbing was done in Wales so we didn't come across Bonnigton or Doug Scott there. They tended to inhabit the Lake District.
