This is sort of the mental...
This is sort of the mental crux of the Zebra-Zion route: you leave the safety of the 5.8 dihedral and do about 10 feet of unprotected face climbing (traversing) ~5.8 before the angle of the terrain kicks back (to low 5th class). Think it's quite safe as you have very good gear in the dihedral. Also, there's probably some variation as to exactly how high you choose to exit the dihedral (I followed chalk marks on the face at the first indication that the right side wall angle was leaning back a bit; March 5, 2005).
