Elkhorn Peak and Rock Creek Butte are center stage in this view of the Elkhorn range from I-82 about 5 miles from Baker City. As I surveyed the winter coat that these peaks were carrying, I couldn't help but remember clambering around on top of these peaks just a few months ago.
