Alan hut (1340m) is placed...
Alan hut (1340m) is placed close to the Veliki Alan pass (1375m) and is main base to explore this part of Velebit, especially now when Lubenovac hut has burned down. Here it is seen buried in snow from the Alan pass road, which is unnoticeable under 2m of snow. In winter road is obviously unusable. March 13th 2005.
