A carniverous pitcher plant, Nepenthes, which can be found on the slopes of Kinabalu. The plant is several inches tall. Insects slide down the smooth walls into the cup, where they are digested. (See comment below by SP member lungdvb for more details about this unusual plant)

When time to get out, most of the insect will either cannot fly out the smaller inlet or stop by the inward pointing tiny hairs, thus resulting drop back into the water and being digested.
