View from Ash Pond

About half an hour from the end of Road 23 you emerge from the forest at Ash Pond on the northwest slopes of Mt Becher with excellent views to the west from there. Better, in fact, than from the summit. Note the complex system of logging roads in the upper Pearce Creek valley below. Indianhead Mountain on the right.
