Viewing Rock, VA

In the Land of Goshen Reconstruction of the scan of an old slide; showing almost the entire Lake Merriweather, part of Bratton Mtn (3130 ft.), Knob Mountain (2251 ft.) Viewing Rock is an outcropping on Little Ridge Mountain reached via rugged trails of 1,000 ft. elevation change in 1.2 miles. At least three trails intersect outside of BSA property to reach this beautiful vista: Anderson, Jump Rock, Round Knob. This location also connects to the Tuscarora Trail further along the ridge. Not sure of date taken; probably in 1999.
