Voted 10/10 | You installed a camera over the crater center? That is very cool. Are the pics online? | | Posted Feb 26, 2010 6:53 am |

Hasn't voted | I was helping out with the field work for the project but it's being headed up by a colleague. The pics are mainly for science use at the moment and so probably won't be come out in a publication for a year or so. You can only actually see the centre of the lake as there appears to be a crust overlaying the sides, no idea how long that will remain intact for though. | | Posted Feb 27, 2010 11:24 am |

Hasn't voted | Thanks, was pretty lucky there wasn't too much gas obscuring the view. Normally it's a lot more hazy. | | Posted Mar 5, 2011 3:06 pm |

Voted 10/10 | Either this is the one, or another where some people based jumped it from a helicopter.
Nevertheless, I go along with the "terrifying" by any approach. Though still amazingly cool that such places exist. Awesome indeed. | | Posted Mar 5, 2011 4:17 pm |
