In my opinion...

...you'd better use less Photoshop. We all do, but this sky blueness looks too unnatural.

Re: In my opinion...

Actually I am advocating more use of Photoshop to remove it! The problem is this: in 2005 I used one kind of slide film and in 2006 another. When I scanned the slides from 2005 I sometimes got these strange effects! I haven't been able to fix it! When I do I will replace the pictures. Thank you very much for pointing that out!

Cheers

Re: In my opinion...

Actually, it's only the sky. All other colours are fine :)

Re: In my opinion...

Yeah, you're right! It seems that the emulsion in the film cannot cope with certain wavelengths -sorry the physicist in me speaking;) My Photoshops skills at present are rudimentary at best! I will try make a re-scan in another scanner but actually this picture is only slightly off - I have far worse examples. Regretably many of the Durmitor and Prokletije pictures are like this:-((
Thanks anyhow for most valuable criticism! I really don't like altering pictures but it seems to be necessary sometimes...time to learn some PS:-)
Pozdrav!

Re: In my opinion...

No, don't worry too much. I see I was wrong, assuming you used Photoshop in a too extensive manner. You can take tis fine picture and in Photoshop (or any other program) just apply the command: Saturation -> (blue colour) reduce. But not too much ;)

Correction

All the relevant material has now been replaced with fresh scans compared to the original slides and hopefully without more blueshift...
