Just curious about the poor fellow riding the bike with the floppy saddle bags. Did you hire him as a porter for your climb? Or was he just interloping through the vast scene before you? ....Just curious-- not being nosy, nice pictures, but boy--what a barren landscape!

	Hasn't voted	Ha ha! That's my wife! I managed to persuade her to carry all my gear to basecamp... Yeah, lots of barren places on the Argentine side of the Andes - normally no-one around though so we really liked it. Somehow managed to spend 10 months just cycling around and hiking.
