"So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life."

Wagner ButteSteep but worthwhile, especially for all the wildflowers!

A bit smokyA very nice trail to the former lookout. Cross country to the actual summit was not too bad, but finding a route without bushwhacking down to the trail was a bit more difficult. The clearest route is more to the south then to the west from the actual summit. I'll have to come back to the lookout on a clearer day. The gravel road to the trailhead is nearly five miles long, and it's in good condition, but a little washboardy. With 2WD I averaged about 15 mph.

Nicelovely little 10 miler right outside of Talent. Nice way to spend the day, great views of the Rogue valley from the top.

Nice hikeNice hike. Beautiful day with only three other hikers on the trail. Interesting history with the Sheep Creek Slide in the early 1980's.

BeautifulI've been wanting to climb this one for about a year now and just finally got around to it. Climbed right after a fresh snow. Very nicely maintained trail and fun little scramble at the end. The views were great. A "sea of clouds."

Wagner Butte TrailI've climbed Wagner Butte several times and thought the climb and trail were especially beautiful this year, so I added this page to SP.
