Walliser Sheep | [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ] |
Typical Walliser sheep. On the descent of Roc de la Vache, a nice viewpoint at the end of Val d'Anniviers offering views towards Weisshorn, Zinalrothorn, Besso, Dent Blanche, and Grd. Cornier. The latter two are in the left background, Pigne de la Le in the right center. Comments[ Post a Comment ] | tphubbard | What nice sheep | |

Hasn't voted | Hehee yes they were very funny looking. My girlfriend kept begging if we couldn't take one home in the backpack :-)
You can add it to your gallery, no worries. I think I also have a sheep shot from New Zealand, which is Sheep Kingdom #1. If I remember correctly people are outnumbered 10 to 1 there!

| WebTraveler | Adorable Sheep | | Voted 10/10 | do they really have a face? I have never seen this type of sheep before but they are the cutest I have ever seen. | | Posted Jul 28, 2010 10:34 pm |

Hasn't voted | Yes there is a face somewhere under all that wool :-) They look very different when you find a shaved version. We saw a lot of them in Wallis and I understood they are typical for the region.
