Watauga River Reflection

The Watauga River reflects the intense fall colors. The water level in The Watauga River Gorge can change in an hour. I was lucky on this trip, I walked through without getting my feet wet. Subsequent trips required waders and I had to carry my pack, arms fully extended up over my head, every time I crossed the river--which was quite often.
