Water Bluer than the Sky

With water bluer than the sky, photos of trees and rocks along Crater Lake can look more like they have the sky in the background than the lake. The brightness, color and saturation in this image are un-retouched (only a sharpening filter has been applied). It was shot with a polarizing filter, which had more affect on the sky than the water. Imaged at Crater Lake National Park, OR in July 2007.
