Waterfall Draining Chaney Glacier

This waterfall directly feeds Margaret Lake. There are two named glaciers feeding the lake-- Ipasha via Ipasha Lake and Chaney via this waterfall. Since Ipasha Lake is not as strikingly colored as Margaret Lake is, I have to assume that Chaney is the deciding factor unless it is the combination of both. This stream is steep and very swift and even in mid-August was tricky to cross. Glacier National Park, MT-- August 2012
