Maybe Waxenstein?If you've been standing somewhere near Eibsee lake looking to the east, then this is part of the Waxenstein ridge coming down from Zugspitze (which would be to the right). Cheers Lukas

That sounds right;the photo was taken from the Eibsee Seilbahn? parking lot, and the Zugspitze is indeed to the right in that photo.
