| Stopped to have lunch on the tower on 4th day of AT section hike. Great views that day. I have been there other times by car. Its a great southern summit along the AT, no matter how you get there. | |

| I really liked visiting the stone observation tower. I have heard how great the views are, but unfortunately the fog cover was too thick to see any such views while I was there. | |
