Had tried to reach WCP-2 via the east ridge last summer, but had to turn around since my knees were knocking. Returned again this summer and took a less direct approach, dropping south from the ridge for a while to avoid cliff bands. After summitting, I dropped down to Swimm Lake to meet up with the rest of my group where we camped for the first of a three night loop. Trip Report
