Weather closing in on El...

Weather closing in on El Capitan as viewed from the summit of Guadalupe Peak. Watching the clouds from the southeast crash into this rugged peak was an experience I won't soon forget and yet another lesson in how quickly conditions change at altitude.

bravo!

This was my first summit at age 15, and sparked my love for the mountains. Thank God they never built the proposed gondola to the summit of Guadalupe Peak!
